PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE PARTICIPATING
Participation in the United We Move Fitness Festival (“Event”) is voluntary. By attending, participating in, or remaining at the Event, all participants acknowledge and agree to the following:
Assumption of Risk
Physical activity and fitness-related activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, injuries, muscle strains, dehydration, heat-related illness, and other physical injuries. Participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
Medical Disclaimer
The Event organizers, instructors, vendors, sponsors, and volunteers are not medical professionals and do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Participants should consult a physician before beginning any exercise or fitness program and should immediately discontinue activity if they experience pain, dizziness, discomfort, or other adverse symptoms.
Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants release and hold harmless United We Move, its owners, organizers, volunteers, instructors, sponsors, vendors, the City of Portage, Founders Square Park, and their respective agents and representatives from any claims, liabilities, damages, injuries, losses, costs, or expenses arising from participation in or attendance at the Event.
Weather and Event Conditions
This is an outdoor event and may be affected by weather conditions or other circumstances beyond the organizers’ control. Event schedules, activities, and locations may be modified, postponed, or canceled for safety reasons.
Photography and Media Consent
By entering the Event area, participants consent to being photographed, recorded, or filmed. Images and recordings may be used by United We Move for promotional, marketing, social media, and advertising purposes without compensation.
Personal Property
Participants are solely responsible for their personal belongings. United We Move and event organizers are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property.
Minors
Participants under the age of 18 must have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who assumes responsibility for the minor’s participation.
Vendor Disclaimer
Products, services, opinions, and information provided by vendors, exhibitors, or sponsors are their own and do not constitute endorsements by United We Move.
Acceptance
Attendance and participation in the United We Move Fitness Festival constitutes acceptance of this Legal Disclaimer and all Event policies.

Terms & Conditions - the basics
By registering for, attending, or participating in the United We Move Fitness Festival (“Event”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Participation Agreement
Participation in the United We Move Fitness Festival is voluntary. By attending the Event, participants acknowledge that fitness activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:
Slips, trips, or falls
Muscle strains or injuries
Heat exhaustion or dehydration
Accidents during exercise activities
Other unforeseen injuries
Participants assume all risks associated with participation.

2. Health and Medical Responsibility
Participants certify that they are physically able to participate in fitness activities and have consulted a physician if necessary.
Participants should:
Exercise within their own ability level.
Stop participation immediately if they experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or discomfort.
Inform event staff of any medical emergencies.
United We Move, event organizers, instructors, sponsors, volunteers, and the City of Portage are not responsible for any injuries, illnesses, or medical conditions arising from participation.

from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses resulting from participation in the Event.

4. Minors
Participants under 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian complete registration and consent forms.
Parents or guardians accept full responsibility for minors participating in any activities.

5. Weather Policy
The Event is held outdoors and may be affected by weather conditions.
Organizers reserve the right to:
Delay activities
Modify the schedule
Relocate activities when possible
Cancel portions of the Event for safety reasons
Registration fees, if applicable, may be non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

6. Photography and Media Release
By attending the Event, participants grant United We Move permission to photograph, record, and use images, video, or audio taken during the Event for:
Social media
Marketing materials
Websites
Promotional campaigns
Future event advertising
Participants waive any right to compensation for such use.
Individuals who do not wish to appear in promotional materials should notify event organizers before participation.

Participants are expected to:

Follow instructions from event staff and instructors.

Refrain from abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or unsafe behavior.

Organizers reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive or unsafe.
